The Random Thoughts Thread

Random thought? Fly over the US and you'll see acres upon acres of golf courses. It's a pretty wasteful use of land and water really. For the privileged few to boot. Snobby overpriced pass time IMO.

Not a fan of golf.

:drama You sir are clueless about most golfers. Just because YOU aren't a fan doesn't make those of us that are snobby. Baseball is Boring as hell but I don't consider its players snobs. Now NBA players for the most part ARE whinny overpaid A$$h0!s.

How many other professional sports as a whole return millions to charities? None.

Currently in Chicagoland. I assure you it's snobby as hell. Everything is private. Just not a fan of the scene.

Golf courses are great places to practice my musical airhorn skills
I find them to be great places to up my swearing game. If golf ain't your bag, but need some cussing practice, then some other such cuss inducing pastimes include stepping on legos at 2am (bonus points for not waking the whole house up), driving in ATL traffic, and dropping tools onto your face while working under a vehicle.

I can't believe I can't remember their names... what ever happened to the folks that were full timing it in a 4wd van, they posted their comic strips, among other things.

It was very interesting hearing the Western Regional Marketing Rep from Yakima speaking about the discussions and development that lead up to their Skyrise RTT production/launch.

The small and medium tents, in addition to their Slim Shady vehicle awning are just the beginning according to him. Look for future releases of larger versions, "interior accessories," and of course exterior annexes.

With their huge customer service portal and limited lifetime warranty, it will be very interesting to see how Yakima fares in this market.

For those of you headed to Expo West, stop by and say hello to Jake Kennedy (pictured above), the Yakima rep we met with yesterday and who conducted our RTT product install/mount/deployment training (for the masses).
