NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS!

New here,
I have been lurking for a while. The website had not been working for me for a while. found the website through the Portal site. I like to mess with my Land cruisers and ford truck, travel, and explore the outdoors on a rare moment that I have some time off. I "travel" alot for work so do not get many chances to be in the States but I do get a chance to see some pretty cool places on the governments dime so I cant complain.

Just joined the board and I'm glad to be here. Looking forward to reading about and seeing everyone's latest adventures. Cheers!

Welcome aboard Del :independence

Thanks Dave! It's good to be here and I've been following you guys on FB for awhile, as well as been watching the growth of the Desert Rendezvous. Great job you guys are doing. :)

As for OutdoorX4, we haven't made the announcement to the general public yet but once it launches, the website will work like a News App in that it'll be a content aggregate site pulling content from all over the internet for virtually everything 4x4 adventure travel/outdoor recreation. It'll be pretty sweet when it's up. Additionally, we will be launching a print and digital magazine by year-end that will be available at every major newsstand in the country. It'll be perfect-bound and archival, and will be focused on promoting responsible 4x4 adventure travel (non vehicle-specific) as a means for enjoying all aspects of outdoor recreation (mountain biking/rock climbing/kayaking/etc).

I'll keep everyone posted and again, great job with everything to date. I look forward to working with you guys more in the future and I definitely look forward to reading about everyone's journeys. Cheers!

New guy here, finishing up my tour in 29 Palms before going back east to a hospital. I plan my trips on a whim and a shoestring budget.

Welcome new guy there. If you're moving East give us a location; there are a few of us scattered on the East coast in case you need a hook up. Even a few (former) medical squids and a couple bucket heads.

Hello all! My name is Joe. I currently reside in North Georgia. I work full time as a Paramedic. I use this same screen name on ADVrider and "RTF" on Expo. I honestly spend more time on the two wheel forums and more spend time adventuring on two wheels. I do enjoy exploring with 4 wheels but that has been on the back burner recently. With a recent employer change I hope to have much more time off to enjoy the over landing lifestyle this late summer and fall.

All varieties of wheels are welcome here, Joe!

You can even post a "build" thread about your bike in the adventure vehicle section, and no one will come yelling at you... except for maybe more pics if you don't include enough. :D

Thanks!

I still love my Tacoma but the bike has been getting all of the attention lately. As is gets colder and my girlfriend gets more time off the truck will come back into play.
