This is how it probably went down...

Setting: Some corporate retail store.

Dave: OMG!!!! Is that the new Luke Skywalker collectible action figure! Aaaawesommmme! I gots to have it!!! Can I, can I caaaaan I????!!!!

Nori: (Rolls eyes) Didn't you just get that new Snowpeak titanium nose hair plucker that you have been begging for just the other day? What the hell do you need with a doll at your age?

Dave: (indignant) Its an action figure and not a doll! Its so cool and all the other cool kids on AAV will have them. Especially that Tango kid...he gets all the cool stuff that rat bastard.

Nori: No, for goodness sake don't pitch a fit here in public. I never should have let you get away with that shit when you wanted that Demello rear swing out bumper. Act your age!

Dave: (cunning expression) Ummm...its not for me but for Savannah. Yeah, that's it, she's been a good girl and she'd dig this.

Nori: Well OK...but its for our daughter and not for you, Got that?

Dave: Bitchin'!!!! I cant wait to play...er... for Savannah to play with it!!!! (momentary pause) Can we get the Chewie figure too???....
 
I just pee'd a little....that was an TRUE representation of what happened.

Oh wait I did the same thing when I asked for the Lego Millennium Falcon........

It does look cool. I'm not a BF or COD fan though - the whole "have to be online" thing with gaming is just not my thing. X box live bs, no thanks.

Playing with people in the same room is cool, or against the computer, but when 100 people are running around throwing knives willy nilly sprinting full time and never missing it's just so unrealistic it loses my interest.

I do thoroughly enjoy the main story gameplay of BF and COD. Hopefully the SW Battlefront series is just as good. I prefer the story lines over online gaming as its just so ridiculous sometimes, and not to mention all the keyboard commandos that litter the fields. I used to enjoy the occasional private games among my friends and I back in college; much better entertainment value.

I pre ordered the ps4 star wars bundle today. Can't wait to play it.
