The Star Wars Thread

I'm thinking it's a real possibility. He seems to be MIA after all...

:questions

The guys at work and I have been debating this topic as well. We've been presuming Luke has turned to the darkside too. After watching the trailer numerous times over again, we've deduced that he's gone into hiding as Yoda had at Degobah, at the planet with all the flames. Luke's power had grown so much he needed to hide and that planet provided enough cover to hide the amount of Force Luke has. Hence why you see the mechanical hand touch R2D2 with flames all around, plus with the silver stormtrooper on the same planet possibly searching for someone. But this is all speculation.

AND THEN there's the snip with Rey crying, and if you look closely, it's a wookie's body with Chewy's bandolier... but I can't confirm if it is chewy. He is shown in the next snip with a bandage on his shoulder.

Oh and there's a Mandalorian insignia on the building they're walking up to with all the flags and drapes. The same insignia that Boba Fett has on his armor.

And we think the entire giant ice planet is a battle station

:crazy Okay I'll stop nerding out.

Mustafar would be an apropos refuge for a Sithly Skywalker! Well played! My heart skipped a beat when I saw his mechanical hand on R2.
I actually thought they were just on a camping trip again.... like on Degobah... lol
After his overlanding X Wing got stuck. Guess he didn't have a proper recovery kit. Maybe ARB or Viking should make a "Yoda" recovery tool? A small green device that uses a mystical power to levitate your vehicle to solid ground?

An overlanding x-wing! Cool. Will my RTT affect the flight dynamics?

I just watched the trilogy on my way back and forth to Europe this week as a recap for the new movie. Gotta say, I could see some of the points being made here. But is this and all of the hypothesis just doing "thy bidding" and generating a huge buzz for the box office? This is the part LucasFilms and Disney absolutely know how to do!

I saw new Luke Skywalker toys on display at Target... he looked older :dunno

:tinfoil

Just, no. All of you...

George Lucas was quoted about creating him specifically for comic relief, and to make the films more entertaining to those 12 and under.
