When I was fairly young, my father and his buddy took me backpacking all over the country and up into western Canada. Many of the places we hiked into had just built brand new Outhouses. All of them were made of Cedar and no matter how bad the freeze dried food we ate was, it always smelled amazing inside. I asked a ranger why they made them from cedar and not some cheaper plywood. His response was, " because all of the Porcupines eat the glue from the veneers of the plywood". I then understood why the outhouse roof was half eaten. I don't know how those critters got up there, but it didn't stop us from enjoying those Solid Cedar Shitters. True story.
It did remind me of this not so true story;

I wonder if they make a lifted model. I'd love to roll up to Mountain Rendezvous and push a button to open my camp.

Push button Hell, Mary says there's a place in San Diego where a one guy parks your truck and another guy carry's your gear to your sleeping quarters and all for only $259.00 a night!

I said NO WAY? :easy

I read something today that really nails the idea of free healthcare for me :soapbox

“With regard to the idea whether or not you have a right to health care you have to realize what that implies. I am a physician. You have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery. You are going to enslave not only me but the janitor at my hospital, the person who cleans my office, the assistants, the nurses. … There's an implied threat of force, do you have the right to beat down my door with the police, escort me away, and force me to take care of you? That's ultimately what the right to free healthcare would be.” ~ Rand Paul

Free is not free. Funny how we went from a nation of rugged individualists to a nation of freebie seekers. None of us have the right to someone else's time nor the fruits of their labor. It's completely ludicrous and communist.

Well Said Dave, Well Said! My physician father (passed away 27 years ago) was completely opposed to HMO's in their infancy. He's turning in his ashes over where healthcare is today! Would love a conversation with him about the current state of medicine today! LOL!
