I saw my first wolf ever in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan two years ago. It was pretty cool to see but to tell you the truth I'd rather encounter a wolf than startle a moose. Having a moose make charge at you is terrifying...

When I lived in Vermont several people were killed by moose each year in automobile accidents. Drivers would strike a moose with their car causing the animal to collapse onto the vehicle and crush the individuals inside. They're big ol' critters.

^^^^Nice! Looks nimble enough to get most anywhere needed for a base camp, and then use the truck to go as deep as you want!

Didn't catch the roof air on the first look...they are LOUD...but makes it a 4 season camper in the south, IMO.

Very loud. :(

We don't really have plans to drag this too far off road - we have the little teardrop for that!

Does the back open like a traditional tear drop?

No. In that regard, it is like a "regular" camper.

That was random! Are you going to share the details?

Details of the MAX, or of why we have it?

I guess you could say it's part of the transitioning to a new city...

I will write a "build thread" (yes, I have made some changes already!) with my philosophical thoughts.

Very cool! I made this transition just a few months ago and couldn't be happier. We got a 19ft travel trailer and it's probably seen worse roads than some people's Sportsmobiles by now. Did you get the full warranty? I highly suggest it as we already broke a hold-down strap for the water tank and had a bad check valve on the water pump - all replaced free.

Meanwhile in Toledo, Ohio, USA...

... My Jeep moved from D1 (gateway) to E status (framing) on the assembly line yesterday. It should finish being built today and ship next week.
