NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS!

Hello, I am Joe and I currently live in Tampa, FL. Have 1x Wife, 1x 4 Year old boy, and 1x Chocolate lab that does not understand she is 7. Have two jeeps, a Liberty with the CRD engine and a Jeep Wrangler unlimited with a J30 top. If I could combine the Liberty and the J30 I would have arrived at my vehicle nirvana...

Welcome aboard Joe! You're right, the J-30 and the Liberty would be a pretty sweet family adventure machine.

Welcome to AAV Cameron! Pull up a few chairs for you and the family and join us around this here campfire.

Hi everyone this is John from Corona CA. ive been following the forum for a little while now and dont believe ive introduced myself. Pops of 3, 2 boys and daughter. We have been on many adventure, some great and some not so good haha. Well its just my daughter and i at age 12 these days. Im a so cal firefighter and tend to just get up and go when time and cash are available. We ride, fish, camp from beach to desert to local mountains..Alaska to BAja in the past. Over the past few month ive been building a new bed for my truck. almost done and better be before this years socal mountain rende. This will be my first time with this group or any group for that matter. so i hope you all will welcome my daughter and I. The truck bed is basically a utility bed being made from scratch to fit around my Four Wheel Camper. Its been a fun and stressing battle. Had to sell a few toys to finance it ha.
Since the guys i work with and have camped with, all have kinda separated in different adventures and times to get together, i hope this adventure will be the new ticket for fun and exploration for us.
hope to see some of you soon
john

Hello all! I'm Andrew aka Goods. I'm a firefighter, American, and adventurist (when I have the time). I'm in Western New York so there isn't a ton of places I can wheel but I do what I can with what I got. I've got an 03 Xterra and it's a slowish budget build. I look forward to getting involved here!

This is my rig (Sheila) before I left for the Adirondacks for a week.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm the jackass that tells you what I think whether it's PC or not. The bumper guard that you have on the front of your truck is KILLING your approach angle. I've never wheeled in the North East, so there's a fair chance that I'm completely off base. Having said that, approach angle is an approach angle, regardless of terrain.

Biggest thing is to get out there and have fun, and keep inane interweb comments from people like me in the back of your head for future consideration!
