Hey y'all.
I just discovered AAV from that other site...
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Drive a '05 Ram 3500 CTD and haul an Alpenlite truck camper.
Looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you.
Also I'll be at the Overland Expo next month and I hope to see some of you there.

It occurs to me that I never stopped by here and properly introduced myself. I'm Dave, aka Cnynat due my tendency to be found exploring narrow places such as this:
My wife Jodi and I enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors. If you camp with us you will most often enjoy some good food, and maybe even some of Jodi's experiments performed with alchohol and gelatin
. We've camped all over the southwest, and particularly enjoy poking around looking for ancient ruins and art.
In our younger days we did a lot of backpacking, but nowadays are about equally likely to be found camping like this:

And finally, here's a picture of Jodi and me from a few years back at a very cool ruin in the Cedar Mesa area of Utah.

Ok, I am going to keep my same screen name. You all know me when I had a 2010 Tacoma DC/LB with a very "special" FWC.
That rig is gone and now I have a 2000 100 series Landcruiser with a slightly modified cargo trailer.

Hey all, Travis here. My wife and I like to camp and go 4 wheeling/trail riding, though we don't get out as much as we'd like. I have a first gen Dodge diesel 4x4 with a Palomino Bronco 1500 9.5' pop-up on it and now will be towing a 74 Ramcharger as my off-road rig. Looking forward to reading/seeing what like-minded folks are up to. We live in West Sacramento CA and I found this place through Pirate4x4.

Auto racing fan, especially F1 and vintage. Driver of 2001 Tacoma DC, 2008 Lexus RX350, 1962 Triumph TR3. Road biker. Border Collie owner. Frequent international traveller. Son of a schoolteacher whose family never had much money but had lots of time, so had the chance to drive all of America in the 1960s and early 70s as a kid camping for weeks on end, leading to a love of going places that still runs strong.
