Driving along today through the North Woods I felt a great disturbance in the force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...

Without trying to be political and getting too descriptive, why are so many people seem like they're trained to be afraid? It seems like so much of society are on the edge of mental collapse at the slightest upset. I don't watch television, so I don't get the visual inundation of all the media's programming many people do who glue their eyes to the TV for all of their conditioning. I wonder what's in the works.....?

I've seen this many times before. It's like many of a species are just suddenly and inadvertently wiped from existence. Gonna get a job working at a car wash....listen to some disco....give some bugs a bath....
 
Random thought... Standing in the lawn and garden section at Home Depot this afternoon I found myself inspecting the garden hoses. A thought crossed my mind. "I should get a nice new garden hose. Not because I need one, but because at my age I deserve a nice garden hose that doesn't kink up."

I believe this is called adulthood. I'm getting old...

The kinking up is because the thinner diameter ones are always cheaper. Buy a nice thick 3/4 inch diameter rubber one. :p

For the last 20+ years (longer?), the media (hollywood and news) have been preaching the dumbing down and being afraid ideas. Most/all of the characters in TV shows and movies are not strong, independent types - they are weak and afraid. The news tells people to be afraid. This idea - brainwashing, actually - started slowly, and has progressed over the years. Have you seen any movies with strong, real leading characters? As a few examples - there are no films like Top Gun, no leading characters like Chuck Norris, no John Wayne.

What you are seeing is the result of a multi-decade social experiment, designed to make everyone think they are dependent on the government for everything in their lives.

I watch very little TV. Many years ago, I realized I didn't enjoy watching the shows. It took a while to figure out why. I refuse to go to movies (hollywood does not need any more of my money) and the only shows I occasionally watch were filmed in the '70s and '80s.
 
Making a wrong turn at the wrong time can have serious consequences.

On 28 June, 1914 the driver of Franz Ferdinand, in haste, made a wrong turn putting Franz Ferdinand face to face with his very soon to be assassin. The events that followed shaped world we now live in and the geopolitical issues we now deal with.

Franz Ferdinand was a progressive and would have given the Serbs some of the freedom and autonomy he was killed for.
 
So hillary is whining about losing the election - and blaming everything and everybody except herself.

Now, biden is talking about a 2020 run.

Bloomberg (the male) thinks Trump will win in 2020.

When I think of Persons trying to control and limit my access to OHV areas I tend to think "oh what a Turd Basket". Why is it that butterflies are attracted to turds?
