Snow Peak....anonymous

Looks like hes "planting a yule LOG"...

Yeah, you can’t see Tim’s E-tool in that pic but it’s there.

:D

Totally, unnecessary since I've got Depends with Maximum Protection! Plus it fits comfortably inside the ScHmIdT Industries, LLC, "Dooty Bag".

The protective case I did it the best yet. WAY better than mine.... reinforced with heavy duty webbing all the along the bottom and sides, heavier duty cordura fabric, 8 point securing loops, grab handles on both ends and a tighter more tailored fit to the IGT.

This customer placed a HUGE custoized order! Is it wrong that I always want to keep stuff for myself?

On an unrelated note... I wanted to go slumming so I decided to see how much slandering was was taking place ver on EE....
It seems that they have a COMPLETELY redesigned web page / store.... no more "forum" I would HATE to think that their business took a hit due to their unprofessionalism and customer abuse....?! Silver linings, I suppose... I still wont spend a dime, plug nickel or red cent there on principle alone. Their loss... I usually get goodies or gift certificates from there as a Christmas present.... Even better though.... my Mom went nuts with the limited supply of things on my wish list over at Prometheus Design Werx!! Cant wait for Christmas!

Heard that EE had some SNAFU with that database but I suspect that it will be back.

When I was 16, I worked at a public swimming pool as a lifeguard. We had a machine for laminating membership cards. One day, I laminated a one dollar bill as a novelty. I used it as a book mark all throughout college years and beyond. I still have it in a keepsakes draw somewhere. Every time I see it, I still a get a twinge of guilt. What a waste of a dollar... I hope your spork serves you well:D

Finally broke down and bought one...

I hope it does too.

The reason I finally got one is for my backpacking kit. I’ve got some outings lined up that are going to be on foot, and every ounce counts.

So “one spork to rule them all” is a smart purchase for me. Jetboil/Mountain House and Katadyn water filter is the meal/hydration plan, and I needed something that was both fork and spoon.

And Snow Peak ;)

The handle is a bit thicker than a laminated dollar bill... but COULD be used as a bookmark, too... I reckon... ;p
Scarfing down victuals with a laminated dollar bill, could prove difficult.
Spork: 2 points
Laminated Dollar bill: 1 point

SPORK wins this round.... lol :stir stirred with a spork... more points.... lol

@Dave I bought one of the large bag style Katadyn filters for out week long backpacking trip last summer. Best money I have spent in a long time, I love my old MSR pump filter, but for a group of 4 thats a lot of pumping. The hang bag style is SO much better and faster. Plus you can fill it and hang it at camp for water use there too.

I tried the amazon Japan route before but they would only ship magazines and books etc...

There are proxy buying services available if there's no other option. They will usually add to the final cost quite a bit though.

You might consider trying Drifta Camping & 4WD.

They have an extensive selection of SP, generally on-hand. Shipping isn't too bad for reasonably sized orders... if you must have it. Even out-sized orders like I got (their poles for the OzTents) was specially handled by DHL direct... from AUS to VA was 5 days. I kid you not and both packages were securely but efficiently wrapped to mitigate unnecessary weight charges. Their communication was terrific too; I had several personal emails from Luke and his crew keeping me posted on delivery and product status.

From their website - a new policy IRT US orders might drive delivery charges even lower.
