NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS!

Welcome to AAV Augie and Dan!

Please feel free to make yourselves at home, set a chair up here by this photonic fire and spend some time sharing tales and spreading some bovine scatology with us.

Dan from Bothell, WA. I am the owner and Chief Overlanding Officer of Northwest Overland. We are a 1700 member strong, all makes, overlanding community in the Pacific Northwest.

Welcome Dan! Some great territory up there to explore. Do you count among your numbers the Bailey's from BI, now Alaska?

I helped with organizing the event, but sadly, had to miss it due to another obligation called Cabo San Lucas :lol

Dan

Welcome Dan! I remember doing a story on your father's JK about four years ago while I was the co-founder/editor/publisher/etc at JPF. Does he still have the JK? I hope all is well and looking forward to seeing/reading about your adventures. Cheers!

Steve and Gretchen?

Yes, good friends they are...

He went and got himself an new JK. Pretty sweet set up. I installed an AEV 2" suspension lift on it this year. Here a great picture of it.
He turned 76 this year. Nothing stopping him!

Wow, small world! We talked quite a bit about various things. Last I saw them, they were headed up to the Arctic Circle in their JK. I told them to write up their trip and get it into Overland Journal. Not sure where they landed after that trip.

Dan

Steve spoke very highly of the trips he took with you all. They did manage to go on their trip to Prudhoe Bay.

Hey everyone.

New here, looking for tips, tricks, mods to make our 07 tacoma a little more overland happy lol. And people to meet up with,go camping that sorta thing.

Set up is an 07 taco access cab on 265/75r16 dura tracs. On the back we are running an All-Pro expedition rack with a custom canvas cover and an ARB Simpson 3 tent. Just a basic set up for now. Doing a 6 week western canada trip this summer, so that will expose soem weak links and show us what else we need.

Anyway, excited to see others builds and adventures.

Cheers

New here, a little birdie told me about this site, and I am looking for a new home. I have an 04 dodge ram ctd 2500 quad cab long bed 4x4 with a 6 speed manual. I'm all about surviving, and being a survivalist., along with outdoors and desert camping. Some of you know me, some don't. I will be putting up a build thread for my truck over here once I get to a computer, as I do not want to do this on my phone. Great to be here!

I'll work on moving it over here tomorrow. Hopefully people will actually read it here, since no one seems to read it on the other site. I welcome any comments and critisizms once it's up.
