Lord knows, above all else in life I want to make Hilldweller happy!
So here's a couple of rig photos. The 110 is an ex-MOD (British army) truck, but was used in Germany so it's LH drive not RH.
The 90 is a '97 and the little pop-up is a '69 Cox Cadet.

Nice trucks... I find the LR ex-MOD vehicles irresistable.

Oh, and thanks Bill... that's all I needed to hear - I'm undernourished. :)

Agreed. When I see that 110 I feel the same excitement I remember having the first time I rode a bicycle. Looks like fun, freedom, and sadly, frustration.

I keep you honest and you value that.
If you only kept the company of other Rover owners, you'd just sit around whispering platitudes in each others' ears and sip tea.
Plus you like the swag.

Under-nourished doesn't mean under-fed, Tim...

hey guys just found this place from a link at expo forum. been away a while just started a new build on a 2004 trailblazer.

Blame Dave

Seeing many familiar 'faces' here... :lol

I try to keep a low profile, not ruffle any feathers, and provide inconsequential advice...

Feel free to ignore me :p

For the rare few that don't know me or my rig:

I'm Rick, live in Oceanside, drive an expedition white 98 Tacoma Ext-Cab truck. I like camping and wheeling, spending time with my wife and working on projects. Not necessarily in that order...

Well it looks like a pretty nice site. I like the layout. Not a clone, it has it's own personality. I hope it thrives for you Dave and becomes a source of good info for many who may visit.
I'm Dwight, aka Keezer37&36. I got a PM a few days back and was glad to see folks on here who's opinion I value. Anyways, I'll try to do more listening than talking as Pa always said to do. Maybe this time it'll take.

Introduction: been known to post on a few different forums, same name. Had a few 4x4 over the years. 1970 Bronco in 1970, a ramcharger, bronco II, f350, wife still has our 03 Sequoia, TJ, and now a FA64 (LJ), as well as a 4x4Kubota, a few 4x4 company trucks. Like to travel to obscure places in the US with my wife.
Now, un-retired building an aircraft carrier. Like back roads, trails, unplanned adventures, just taking off into the distance. We do have a cargo conversion adventure (small a) trailer. Pretty simple, does what we want. Looking forward to hanging out here. Living in very SE Virginia, think 1 mile by water from Lesner Bridge southeast.

Good afternoon, y'all. My name's Wes. Long time listener, first time caller. Thanks for having me.

Some of you might recognize me from Central Overland. Word on the street is that the dude who runs that place is shutting down his 2.5-year-old forums over there at the end of this month. I hear that an effort is underway to drive some of that traffic this direction. If that happens, let me be the first to apologize for any miscommunications caused by our southern drawl. I'll gladly serve as translator as needed.

Be sure to bookmark our main page and find us on social media, though, as our online media outlet is alive and kicking. We work hard to be a daily source of overland travel news and information, and from time-to-time, we actually hit the mark and share something of value in an entertaining way. (A cold beer is recommended to further amplify the experience.)

Look forward to getting to know everyone. Drop a line my direction any time.

6 out.

So this is where you all have been conspiring . I think I will hang around with all the familiar peeps. The Site looks Great!

Aloha pray4surf!

How have you been?

I have been wondering where you were.

How is the Chimenia working out for you?

Did you sand and paint it. Or just keep it original rust? I remember your fun pics of it in your back yard! Carry On!

.....:campfire

Just where is my Chimenia Smilie when I need him?

Aloha! Mark.......SWR
