what have you cooked recently?

tonight, double cut pork chop, smoked, with caramelized apples and onions and port reduction, and german potato salad with home-made bacon and home-grown green onions

Just dropped a 3.5lb chuck roast in the slow cooker with a mess of spices in hopes it ends up french dip sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. I'll report back my findings!
 
Turned a few pounds of cucumbers from the garden into 6 pints of dill pickles this morning.

Last weekend we pulled all the remaining apricots off our three and made 3 pints of apricot jam.
 
try partially cooking red sweet potatoes (mistakenly called yams) by boiling them whole, then cool them off with water, and slice into wedges and put salt on them and bbq... friggin' bomb.com
 
Making a batch of fresh tomato sauce using tomatoes from the garden. Looks like we'll have 3-4 quarts to put up.
 
Smoked a pair of Boston butts on Wednesday. Came out delicious. Didn't take pictures because I was in to big of a hurry as I had promised my staff lunch.....
