Trailhead Tire Deflators

Been using these since 2010. Don't really understand how they work but I've always verified with a gauge after just to be safe.
 
I use a valve stem removal style (Currie one posted above) one also, fast and easy.

And I too carry a few valve cores and a tool. Which reminds me I should buy more. I used a couple!

I bought a set in 2006. Bullet proof, all brass and adjustable. There are newer things but Staun's have always worked for me.
Same here Dave. have two pair of them, bought another set thought I lost the first one.
 
Which begs the question how many of you out there carry extra valve stems and tool to remove them? I've seen my fair share of those that air down and forget to put caps back on and a grain of sand mucks everything up. I find it patently absurd that we go around in vehicles worth untold amounts all supported by 4 valves that cost a buck apiece. But then again I am easily amused
