Saw it last night. I can't remember the last time that I smiled so much during a movie.

The effects were spot on, they did an especially good job with the lightsaber fights.
 
Last night we went down and saw it. I won't throw any spoilers out here (though the internet is full of them) but suffice it to say that HOLY CRAP it was a good movie.

Disney, and the film crew/producers, had big shoes to fill and while it's easy to criticize, IMHO they did a VERY good job keeping this connected to the other movies while shaping the storyline for the next movies in the series.

I give it 9 of 10 :popcorn
 
We saw it Friday at a "regular" theater and just bought tickets for next week for the full IMAX 3D experience.
 
They NAILED the Tie Fighter sound/roar, too.

There are a couple of scenes in this episode that will go down as some of the most epic in the whole series.

I'm thinking that I'm going to need to go see it again this weekend.
 
I saw it today and I thought it was great. I had to go to the restroom so bad through the last hour but I was riveted to my seat and didn't want to miss anything.

So it turns out we had to run last minute errands and gift buying so we didn't have time to watch it. I'm a little sad, but maybe we can watch it in 2 weekends since I'll be on the road all week until Jan 3... °-°
 
This is what I got myself for Christmas...well early Christmas. I went in at noon on the 17th, before the 7pm showing that same night. Have been 4 times since....man I AM that nerd.

 
Nice! I'm planning a Millennium Falcon for myself. Just trying to find the exact right image/angle and decide where to put it.
