The Random Thoughts Thread

Seems that actually getting someone on the phone with any given company these days is damn near impossible. Very annoying to be trying to conduct business with folks when they seem to reside inside of some kind nebula of automated answering service that seems to not be maintained. Ever.

Isn't it amazing how fast a telephone connection is connected - half-way around the world!

What used to take minutes now takes milliseconds.

Ain't technology grand!

Stop me if this has been mentioned on the form before.

It's the "cylinder index", where men are judged by how many "cylinders" they have?
Example...1-FJ cruiser = 6, 1- small block chevy = 8, 1- chainsaw = 1, unless your @hagis who probably has a 2 or 3 cyclinder chainsaws, 1- lawnmower, etc?
Anyway, you get the point. Only 20 or more may apply. The more the merrier, have at it, go out in the garage and start counting.

24. Is...is that good?

I'm at 26, but one of those is the Poulan chain saw that seems to defy the odds and start every time I need it too, despite the interweb experts that assured me that it would implode on the second pull on the start cord.

I have no idea of understanding the relativity for which y'all are conversing. Do Hit and miss engines and steam engines count? We have so many machines here. Upwards of 25 cylinders?

For the daily random thought;
Partaking of the golden green globulous nerforama which lay before me in the confines of my apparatus. Surely one would imagine the partaking of refinements of Soliloquy ringing through my inner ear, bursting in expansion a broaching of the Gaseous waste for which I am and have become amorphsc on occasion, turgid and turbulent in nature subsiding languidly into the calm corners of a sated mind rested upon cool wet stones deep within the refines of verbose contemplation.

Random thought from Sunday. My Jeep was starting to whine a bit more and make some driveline noise. I didn't think much of it, but yesterday I was futzing with stuff and got underneath. I figured "Start with the easy stuff" and sure enough, my rear differential was 1.5 quarts LOW. I'm glad I randomly decided to check that! Sounds way better now.

I want to make sure I understand you, are you trying to say that you're not operating on all cyl's?
