State Velcro Patches

I checked at three different shops while at Grand Canyon, and left empty handed. I'll keep checking at the next parks though.

Did you mention you were with American Adventurist? That's generally what gets the most traction with those people... just mention that you know Dave. Personally.

If anyone just collects patches just for the hell of it, I can look for some at contingency at the Baja 500 in a couple of weeks. I've never really looked for them, but if there's a market, there's a vendor!
Bob, if you see any patches for the 500 pick me one up and I'll gladly pay ya for it, since it doesn't look like I'll be able to make baja this year.

I know Dave... That means I'm on the list for the party.

Got my pickup half price that way. True story.;)

Exactly... at any off-road event like Expo, I have never paid for a beer - "I'm with AAV and I know Dave."

TangoBlue pretty much nailed it on that one. I always look at the ranger stations and try to find them in similar sizing to my others. If I can't find them, they go on my list, and I look for them online. The majority of my park patches for the desert southwest came from here (looks like they are a bit harder to find on the site now): Click. I Probably have 15+ currently with a ton I still need to find/order. Most can't be seen very well from that picture. Additionally, I benefit from being a part of a Marine Corps aviation squadron... since patches are something that we do... I have Marines that will add Velcro to my patches for me. Happy hunting!

I just picked up a couple decals and a california and Arizona patch for the truck... My first headliner patch was an obvious choice...

Just picked up a couple of boonies from this site. Good stuff. Thanks for posting the site. Enjoyed looking at their tshirts and a few other items.

Decent prices, quick shipping. I am in no way affiliated with the site, just like their products and level of service.

Some additions to my patch collection. I decided I'm just doing state patches for the states my truck has been to, and not one for every state I've been to, since I've been to 49 of the 50...

Why is the Arizona flag upside down?

I'll have to remember to look for some patches at the 500 for you collector types. Are SCORE logo patches desirable for anyone, or would you prefer something that is specific to this years race?

I'm good with whatever you can find Bob :)

I've been thinking about putting the National Parks patches I have in my truck. I like the idea of the state flag patches, too.

So, the big question - how do you get them to stick to the headliner? I assume the Velcro patches will stick just fine, but what about the non-Velcro ones?

EDIT: OK, I just re-read the thread title.

But the question still stands, as I have a few non-Velcro patches I would like to display.

EDIT 2: RTV (silicone sealer) would work, but if you were to move a patch, the headliner might be a little messed up.
