Hi there! My name is Jason. I'm from the Bay Area and have been interested in overlanding for about 10 years. Before that I was into racing and built a low 10 second Mustang fox body drag car. Love to tinker, overlanding let me merge my hobbies. Always a camper, backpacker, etc. Eagle Scout. Been on a few trips over the years, never with an organized large group though. I have a full size Dodge Ram set up for expedition camping (not a Power Wagon). Not great for technical 4 wheeling due to size/ wheel base, but good carrying capacity for my gadgets :) I look forward to attending the upcoming desert rendeveous!

Hello all, i'm Paul and I live in the the NorCal Valley (Manteca). I'm an avid Jeeper and do off road fabrication. Current projects include a 55' Willys CJ5 and a fully self contained expedition trailer. Hope to do some meetups this coming year.

Hello all,

I just joined today and am looking forward to reading about everyone's adventures and sharing some of my own.

Grew up in SoCal, spent 3 years in Bend OR, and moved back to CA last year.

Currently driving a '16 Tacoma AC, equipped with dog platform and SnugTop. Nothing spectacular, but it gets to places I wouldn't take the wife's Subaru and it keeps us comfortable at night.

I enjoy fly fishing and love trips where I can combine 4LO, roll casting, campfires, and an IPA.

Just passed the HAM technician exam last month and am exploring the world of mobile comms.

Hello, FNG here. Ive been overlanding for about 20 years now. I am a minimalist and try to keep things light as my rig is pretty small. I drive a highly modified 82 Subaru Brat and spend most of my time in the Anza Borrego, Death Valley, and up around Big bear. I am also the curator for several off-road Subaru groups here in the SoCal region. I look forward to meeting other adventurists and sharing stories/ experiences.

My name is Mike and I live in Portland, OR. Currently driving a 2013 Jeep JKU and I enjoy both day and multi-day trips all over the Pacific NW. I've been gradually building my jeep up to support trips into more remote corners of the NW and have aspirations to do longer runs all over the US and Canadian west. Currently running a 2.5" life (AEV) and 35s. Next big addition is (hopefully) an Ursa Minor J30 top. Happy to be here!

Hi all:

WiL here.. started overlanding a few years back after my last tour in Iraq as a way to deal with stress and it works for me as I have maintained my sanity.. LOL. Lovin' the offroad therapy the nature has offered me. Jeep JK and Tundra are my rigs.
