The next day, we decided to head further east to just before Boise, ID. We cruised all kinds of miles of backroads to find Cow Lake Campground.
Unfortunately, Cow Lake Campground was just that. It was a flat, brown lake surrounded by cows. I couldn't even have fun because there were prickly thorns all over the ground.
@bob91yj and Garrett decided that if the dogs couldn't run around, we might as well check out the second campsite we had picked out randomly on a map. This led us to Birch Creek Historic Ranch. It is one of the most amazing camp spots I've ever been to!
Garrett and I even floated about a quarter mile down stream from a boat launch back to camp. How FUN!
@bob91yj and Machelle were just relaxing hardcore with Penny and Mac.
The next day, we cruised to Boise, Idaho. We actually had a hotel room, so not much to report. We waited for more arrivals to show up until 3am! Tyler, Quinn and Brittni all flew in from Los Angeles! The next day, we headed out to Deadwood Reservoir to find our friend
@100acre who had reserved some sites for us. What a great place to camp! We relaxed, fished, jumped in the reservoir, saw the eclipse and had an amazing time!
We flew back to Los Angeles two days later. I flew home in a dog crate, of which I am not a fan. All in all, it was the best trip I've ever been on! I've now peed on four states!
