Frankie the Adventure Dawg's Reports

We spent four days adventuring in Baja for the Baja 1000 offroad race! Sometimes there are loud trucks and random mexico dogs and random mexico things, but every once in a while Garrett's friends capture that one photo of what most people don't see between him and I (usually it's chaos). We're bonded for life. He saved me and I saved him. This is the dawn. This is just our beginning. Viva Baja.

Now where them goats at? :dog

So this happened to me. Awkward. What am I; an elf? I deserve to be Santa. Someone's gonna get some "coal" in the house...:bull

Am I naughty or nice?

As some of you know, human didn't like my lack of fun in the more than inadequate jumpseat rear of his access cab long travel Tacoma. I would whine and cry while bouncing around and sooner than later, ended up in the passenger's lap in the front passenger seat, and I'm not good at navigating...I'm at a loss for words...get it? :dog So needless to say, after also spending all of his "spoil Frankie" money on constant repairs, he sold the truck. I'll miss jumping huge dunes in Pismo......said no dog ever.

The sensible thing would be to get an old Chevy Suburban or a big diesel Excursion for me. But instead just what has he gone and done now? He keeps saying something about next week's delivery. I, Frankie the destroyer of any nice things (seriously, they both say I'm why they can't have nice things), am very curious to sniff this expedition white package...I'm getting a hint of diesel already.

Mac our Boxer wasn't so thrilled when we brought Penny home after Tassie passed, they're best buds now. Is she a Boxer or Boxer mix? My son has a white Boxer, they WILL sunburn, be super careful with her in the desert.

Run, jump and play! I love my new sister and exploring the huge nature preserve surrounding our neighborhood!

And then we go on bike rides now! Garrett doesn't like being round and says I need to work out...always makin' me do stuff.

What prompted me to push more towards adventure travel is that I wasn't willing to drive 100-200 miles one direction to meet people for one or two trail runs and go back home. Make it a weekend camp trip and I came out because then the fuel is worthwhile.

THIS is so true. :thumbsup

Human upgraded my home bedding

And we have a newer addition with a new housemate up here. Bo is another sweet rotund white girl. And like her roundness. So much that if we all weren't fixed, we'd probably have puppies by now...

And human ditched me for a motorcycle ride this weekend...I guess I could run 100 miles of trail! Tim came (we all know his relation to Cris and Paige) as well as two other buddies. Here is Tim on Saturday's warmup ride in Santa Barbara while riding Dustin's WR450

Oh, sure, you dont meet me in Big Bear, but you go out with Tim. . . . . I see how it is

You went out in Big Bear this weekend? You went to Johnson Valley instead of Big Bear a few weekends ago! :dog

Wait wait wait.....now I'm in the back?

Don't worry, everyone! I found a way to get past all of stupid Garrett's barriers. I end up up front at some point.
Mostly because Lucy gets car sick and throws up on windy roads!

Frankie...you deserve better. I mean the guy you have as a pet, not only does he wear flipflops, but he makes you ride in the back. What the hell??? Get yourself a bus ticket to the Northwest corner of Pennsylvania and we'll set you up with a yard bordering on 6000 acres of forests and a trout stream to romp through, all sorts of critters to chase and we'll save you a shotgun seat in one of our pick-up trucks. Stay as long as you want until that boy appreciates you appropriately again.

I am sure Frankie is only sticking around for Kylynne :dog
