Machelle had surgery again today to take the plate and screws out of her collar bone, along with a bone chip that was floating around in there.
I just saw the doc, he said it all went well and he is actually pretty happy with the way things have been healing.
The little triangular piece of bone was taken out.
Hopefully she’ll be healed and we’ll be back in the adventure game soon!

I mean, you know my solution to this, right? Just get a new vehicle. Problem solved....or a better set of stairs than a two foot drop/step from the tailgate to the platform/step stool to get out of the camper.
What I really need is one of those Ford "man steps" with the handrail and step that all pop out of the tail gate!
yeah, but that is also how you "fix" an empty gas tank #VehicularADDI mean, you know my solution to this, right? Just get a new vehicle. Problem solved.

We use one of those accordion steps. Hooks into the rear of the camper and deploys at whatever angle is needed. If you matched one of those with a larger grab bar, you'd be pretty close to a full rail.

Glad your wife is doing better. We are getting ready for my wife to have a fourth spine surgery. We are glad to have very good health insurance.

Got it. Our steps came with the camper. They hold my fat ass quite well, but... depending on the amount of beverage consumed I could, at times, need that added grab bar
