My layers of security weren't defeated, Bob, my truck was open and unlocked, because it's a pain in the ass to carry my keys around the campsite when I'm in and out of the vehicle so often. From now on, it'll remain locked. I figured I was among friends who would keep an eye on my truck. Lesson learned.
I think I liked it better when people thought twice about pranking me when they were worried they might get shot.

Apparently you were among friends who did indeed keep a close eye on your truck, and took note of its unlocked and vulnerable condition. They were kind enough to teach you to lock your car at all times...I had to lose 24 dollars in cash and a few credit cards to learn that. Nice fellows those friends of yours......good thing they weren't thieves
Read my post in the Shenanigans thread regarding Barlow putting on a gorilla suit to scare me, but got the sudden concern that I might be carrying. He carried out his prank anyway, but with a little bit of concern, I'm sure.
I'm just thankful that one of these didn't make it into the back of my Jeep where the lite cylinder resides... Could have triggered an.... BOOM!!!
So if this happens tonight while I'm going to work. I'll be right at your doorstep for you to fix it.
I kind of expected you to come by last night. Something must have gone wrong.
I'll have to get my people in touch with the people that were supposed to perpetrate the deed. Maybe they had a run in with your people? I have heard that the roving security guy has a sense of humor.

I apologize for the delay. I know there are some innocent folks out there wrongly accused, a guilty one or two conspirators waiting to see what happens, and faithful forum members optimistic to see justice meted out to those saboteurs and domestic terrorists.
The long pole in the tent is the fingerprint vetting; one of the hoops includes running the prints (they did lift some good ones) through INTERPOL. They can't make them move any faster than Europeans want to move so there's the rub. You'll know when I know; well except for the guilty. They should learn of their status before we do.

Funny thing about vehicles and their wiring, and what it's connected to... someone might touch the wrong horn wire, and KABOOM!... You never know what goes where, and is it a ground trigger or a positive trigger... one will never know because one would never risk blowing up for a prank.
