4th Gen Taco: 2024 revealed?

That PR goes from "most capable" to "highly capable" to may void warranty and may not be street legal. I know they're talking about the prototype in the end but why say that if they aren't selling the prototype? (Rhetorical question, I know -- lawyers.)

Need load capacities....... specifically it needs a 1000kg (2204lbs) load rating. To match the current Hi-Lux.
I guess depends on the rear axle as to what they are doing. But I'm not hopeful for the US.
but if they did it it would be a class leader, and a no brainer choice with a Non-hybrid Gas motor.

Cool on the brakes.

A removable Bluetooth speaker. Finally. Toyota is giving the market what we've been demanding for years...

Same thing I was thinking when I seen this, this morning.

That removable speaker really has Jeep and Ford shaken in there boots!

As soon as the crackheads figure out something is valuable in the vehicle it'll be smash and grab time.

Wonder how well it'll do hanging out on the dash of trucks in the Southwest during the summer months.

That giant hump in the middle of the tailgate cap should help the aftermarket bed cap manufacturers get their rear panels to seal up well.

Brightening up that image I don't see a cubby in the lower part of the bed and no accessory rails? Or maybe that's the end of the rail right at the edge of the photo.

Going through my Tacoma build thread pics looking for pics of the bed. The steel frame portion of the bed looks nearly identical to a 3rd gen's. I have a hunch it's still going to need bed channel stiffeners.

One comment in response to Toyota's post on this.

"I have 3 Bluetooth speakers at my house dating back to 2013. This isn't a "wow". At least have them show something important."

The Jeep Gladiator had a portable Bluetooth speaker as an option in 2019.

My 2020 has one, behind the rear seat. Not living in the sun on the dash…

:facepalm
