Around 5PM. Participants should start planning to get started around 3:30 to 4:00 PM
I'm definetly on then. Last drv we left camp around 9 am and got back at about 1pm, so assuming I'm around the same time this go around, I'll be fine. Look forward to helping out this year!

The time restrictions are why my trail run at MRV went from a full day moderate / black diamond run to an easy half day tour. Much less stressful and a lot more fun . . . . atleast for me

If you're planning on doing a similar run this year as we did at mrv, count me in.

Interesting. I was at the last mrv, but didn't get in the line till late, so I didn't realize the entrants got a chance to try the dishes. Good stuff.

I ourposely got in line late because we didn't contribute. There were still chicken feet left when I came though so I'd call that a win!

Also looking forward to

The Mojoe Griddle creations!

Hi Steve!

We got something big planned! Let me know if you want to volunteer to help.

I'll have you know that those chicken feet were totally Mojoe! At least we left you something good!

Cam, when is this "big" thing you have planned? I'm game to help if it's not at the same time as the Dutch oven stuff, which I'm assuming it's not. As you saw from the t4t event, I can flip a mean cheese crisp!

I do, and look what my little sis and bro got me for Xmas! This will be traveling with me to MRV.

I could also probably "borrow" my parents Mojoe Griddle that I bought them for Christmas. (it was all an elaborate plan to have access to a Mojoe!)

Also, I do not recommend rainbow sandals for Mojoe seasoning... bad form, terrible technique. :D

I'll be bringing my mojoe as well.

Ok gang the steel shoot Sunday. I'm bringing used and another instructor, ar500 steel and stands. We will provide a safe environment for you all to enjoy yourselves. But uh I drive a Tacoma with a small bed so I haven't figured out how I'm getting it all there yet.

If you're planning on participating I ask that you guys bring your own shooting mats, tarps, pop ups even.

What's max distance people are going to want to shoot? Minimum distance? This has a lot to do with caliber btw. Don't be shooting my 100 yard steel with your 338 lapua lol.

I am heading down on Thursday night but can probably help with transport if we meet up earlier in the week

Hi Scott:

The "Big thing" has to do with bacon - Lot's of it! And it will occur on Friday afternoon/evening. I still have to talk to Dave to iron out the particulars.

Hey Steve!

If you have enough room in your rig, you can't beat the Camp Chef Explorer (plus it is an approved Mojoe heat source!). And yes, sandals and seasoning are a bad mix if you are not into pain!

Well, throw my name in the hat for some help on Friday afternoon/evening if you need.

I can help out with transport as well. Send me a PM if you do need assistance in getting stuff there and back. I should have a good amount of room since we typically pack light.

I'll be sorely disappointed if nobody says "1000 yds" or "500 Brinell steel."

It's AR500 tango so we are good to go in that department. I have a nice toy to play with too. It has a falling head when you shoot it then when you hit the center of the body it pops the head back up. Again all AR500.

My plates are 12" so 1000 will be very tough for some which means "try harder" right? Lol. I have a new 18" SPR I built that I want to stretch its legs that weekend I think. Nothing better than seeing how far you can lob a 77gr 5.56 accurately.

Richard thanks. My poor taco is packed to the gills when I have the kids with me lol. Fyi I'm located in Corona no clue where you are.
