Just as long as he doesn't bring his depraved piggishness into the forum. I don't judge.

Great looking bumper Cris. How much does it weigh? Is he marketing them yet and for 4th gens?

I am not sure on the weight. We are still making a few modifications, and the final bumper will be slightly heavier material. The non scientific method of picking them up, I would guess that the new bumper is about the same as the factory bumper and winch mount, but I could be completely wrong. We will be doing some little stuff to it probably in January, and I will try and weigh it while we have it off the truck. As for the 4th Gen, he already has them for the diesel, and I believe the changes for the 3rd gen Power Wagon will work on 4th Gen but I will have to check with him to be sure.

I am loving the way the bumper looks on the truck, but I am hating how it makes the rear end look. The back end looks dumpy. It will be a while before I can do it, but a rear bumper is definitely in order both for functions and looks

Thanks. Post up on both fronts weight and gen 4 adaption. Looks good.

I just talked to Todd, he says he can do the 4th Gen, but they are a bit heavier. 3rd gen is approx 170 lbs and 4th is about 190. Both of those figures seemed high to me, I don't think it actually weighs that much, but that is the info I was given.

Great thread and awesome build!
It's refreshing to see a bigger truck getting built for this purpose.
Keep it up!

Cheers!

Hey, thanks for stopping by and dropping a note, and dont worry, I plan on keeping it up as long as the wallet will allow me to.

Pure hotness... Wish I could take the day off and go down that way.... What time will you be there?

A little maintenance today with an upgrade. I have been running EBC yellow stuff pads on OEM rotors and been very happy. I was do for front brakes so I figured I would upgrade the rotors. EBC recommended their extreme duty pads instead of the yellow stuff, so know I have extreme duty pads and the GD series slotted and dimpled rotors. They are beefy

Also tried a new service called openbay.com and was very impressed. Basically you put in your vehicle information and what service you are looking for and shops bid on the repair. I got 4 shops that gave qoutes. Looking at the yelp and open bay reviews I went with the cheapest bid. They had a 5 star review on open bay, 4.5 on yelp, half mile off my route home from work and did the install for 80 bucks. When you pick a shop, you give open bay your payment info for the agreed price and they give you a code to give to the shop when the work is done. You don't pay the shop directly. It worked out great. I will give it a try in the future. I will post my referral code when I get home if anyone wants to give openbay a try
