Whatcha drinking?

This is really disappointing...

Ya know, if there were no coffee, we probably wouldn't have this Forum today. The entire concept was, from it's inception, fueled by high octane coffee. That's why it even gets it's own smiley

:coffee

If you can't stand your spoon up in it, it's not strong enough!

Perused the Scotch cabinet, decided a snort of Speyburn single malt would get the call tonight.

I'm a novice Scotch drinker, been trying different things to see what I like.

Scotch is one thing I'd like to start dabbling in, I just haven't made the jump.

Bring $$$ when you do, a LOT of it.

My son and started drinking it with his father in law, and got me started on it.

Funny story. My daughter and her husband were house sitting while we were out in the desert somewhere. She had some friends over, my daughter and a friend decided to check my liquor cabinet, found two different $100 bottles of Scotch and proceeded to do shots of it. A week or so later I decided that a snort was in order only to find that if I mixed the dregs in the two bottles I might come up with a couple of sips! My daughter has yet to live that one down.

Remember now, I'm not one of those folks who, just because I hate something, wants to ban it for everyone else. Think of it as supply security for you heavy drinkers of bitter brown muck. :D

"Bitter brown MUCK" you say? Blasphemy I say!

More like Nectar of the Gods! :bowdown

In the morning it's coffee, in the evening it's bourbon for me.

If it's blasphemy, so be it, but I never acquired a taste for coffee either. I also don't have the morning addiction to caffeine, so I can function as soon as I wake up. I do like the aroma, though. And I don't begrudge anyone who wants to spend untold $$$ on brew, beans, and accessories

This is true for me as well although I do like a frosty glass of milk in the morning.

Seeing the costs of some of the stuff people pour down their throat I often wondered how much money I have saved over the years not partaking in coffee or alcohol.

Trust me, I too wonder how much money I could save by not drinking coffee or beer. I refuse to give up coffee though. Beer I've given up before ( wife seemed to think it helped her get preggo). I am a weekend beer drinker and I do it because I enjoy the taste, not to get drunk. ...

I'm at an awards dinner for work Right now with an open bar. I've been pounding Newcastle and Coors light all day.

Not a fan of hard alcohol but I do like my beer. So here is a good one I just finished.
