What I want to know is how are we going to plug in all of these electric cars that they have planned for California by the year 2025? The grid can't carry the electrical load now, what's going to happen when we have a few million electric cars plugged in?

I saw that the temps in Phoenix exceeded the max take off temps for some Bombardier airliners in Phoenix last week.

Haven't you heard? The government expects people with electric cars to sign up to reverse the flow of electricity to their cars during peak use, sucking their batteries dry. All in the interest of the collective.

The electricity for charging electric cars is free. Free electricity is very different than the expensive stuff you use for your home air conditioning. Free electricity is so light that it places no additional load on the grid.

I have a customer that bought a Chevy Volt from us. Now that gas prices are down again he said that it's cheaper to run it on the gas engine than it is to plug it in.
