Report from a friend who ran gold mountain last week was it was pretty rutted out so uh be ready. This could get interesting heh.
Remember my philosophy on this. The purpose of these runs are to have fun and see what our ability (and to learn about our ability) can handle in our overland rigs in the event we go on some epic trip that requires some technical expertise. So we don't get ourselves in trouble then. If it's bad and ugly we always have alternate plans. Group consensus when on the mountain always rules in my mind. Because I'll always so onward lol.

Propane fires are good. Technically each vehicle should have a fire permit for their stoves but as long as there is one in the group we are fine, and I have one.

I hate to do this, but you can cancel my order of fried rice, Garrett because I'm not heading up this weekend. Tight deadlines and too many cooks in the kitchen really push a project to the last minute. My truck hasn't seen dirt in so long... life just seems to just get busier and busier.
Most likely to leak, not most likely to have random unexplained electrical problems ;-)
