NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS!

Howdy all - My name is Chad Austin. Live in the Atlanta metro, Georgia. Been on ExpoPortal for a fair amount of time, but really like what I see here. I know a few of you...and have been a bit of a lurker. Looking forward to meeting more of you this weekend at Appalachian Rendezvous.

Ken Little. I live in Moorpark, Ventura county. I have a 08 ram Megacab 6.7. I spend most of my free time split between the California deserts and a cabin in Idyllwild. I have been a long time motorcycle rider. I got the exploring bug and have started outfitting the truck for exploring. I have a wife and 3 kids (11b, 11g, 8g). I am on Instagram as kenslittle72.

I'm Dave. Been lurking here for a long time. Way overdue to introduce myself. I live in the high desert above Yucca Valley California. I have been exploring since I got my first dirt bike as a kid, to years of serious backpacking, to a few decades exploring pavement destinations on Harleys and then different combinations of truck camping, campers, and travel trailers. Now I explore in a 2013 4Runner.

I have met a couple of you along the way. Though I have no military experience, I especially appreciate and enjoy the integrity the folks with military background exhibit here. I'm looking forward to joining in on some trail runs and camping.

Hello everyone,

My name is Martin, and I've been around for a while. Mostly on Expo Portal, but have lurked around here as well. We live in Graham, TX,and do the majority of our adventuring in CO, NM and UT. I am currently in a 97 80 series, but am very seriously considering getting into a pickup as an overlander. My wife and I are headed out to Overland Expo East this week. Hope to meet some of you out there.

Hi guys im shay and im new here, I love the outdoors and been going out more and more the last couple of years. I don't have a truck or overlander so my options are limited (i just drive a small acura I bought ten years ago, still going strong!!) However That doesn't stop me from going out there!! I am hoping to meet and learn new things from all you guys and gals!

The rig and the gear do not matter around here, all that matters is that you get outdoors

Greetings Adventurists. I'm Mark, from around Charlotte NC (via South Africa), currently driving a beautiful T4R...mall crawler (happy wife - happy wife etc) I was scheduled to be driving to Daytona Tomorrow for the weekend, and would have had to have missed my first opportunity to visit the Expo East this weekend. However the weather event will now allow me to visit this Sunday. Got my tickets, bringing my daughter :).

We get outdoors as much as a schedule with kids allows.

We've had Honda Civic's show up at a Desert Rendezvous, like Chris said, it's not the gear, it's the getting out there and doing it that matters. Ask about open seats if you see a trail run you'd like to go on. Your car will also make it to the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation trip coming up in a little over a week.

Some of the best exploring is done on our feet. Find a place you want to go and use the car as a base camp.
