Yes Sir! Been awhile. It will be nice to see some old friends. I see Vince and "Shirley" are signed up.
Hi, my name is Adam, I was introduced to the forum by Phoenix and Big Tom. I am retired LE and stay busy working in IT to pay for my mods to my 2010 Wrangler. Hope I'm not to late for AR and I get to spend a weekend in NC meeting new fellow wheelers/adventurist...
You gotta love a forum name of JDAM, I tell you what. Joint Direct Attack Munition... a bolt-on guidance package that makes dumb bombs smart. Good piece of gear.
Welcome to the forum - you already made a big bang with that name!
Tim, fairly certain you and Adam could spend a few hours discussing this and that. Adam is a very understated person, and was the first person to teach an old dog some new tricks. Stoked he'll be joining Tom and I on this trip.
Adam makes three of us from Disconnected Offroad coming South. We expect to be joined during the days by a friend from Carolina Metal Masters.
Hello to the American Adventurist community! My name is Joe Fanaselle, and I am a resident of Southern California who loves to explore. I work full time for a major electronics company, and moonlight as a breaking news photo journalist in my spare time. I spent several years as a volunteer firefighter and keep myself close to the public safety world through my photography.

Hello all, name is Laura... LOVE THE OUTDOORS... excited to be here
Love Hiking, Camping, Fishing, and of course Waterfall Hunting!
Welcome, there are a ton of us here in SoCal. Feel free to jump in on a trip when you see one posted up, or post where you want to go, it is usually not very hard to get people to come alongHello everyone! My name is Ryan, I'm 19, from Southern California, I love exploring, and I'm in the midst of building an overland /prerunner 2000 Toyota Tundra.
I just picked up a camper shell and built myself a solar generator to power a small fridge for when I go on a real trip. But for now its nice being able to bring cold drinks and sandwiches to the top of a mountain even in this California heat.
I haven't ventured too far to go on any expedition trips but if anyone has any suggestions for some cool spots in my area let me know. Heres a few shots of my rig from completely stock to how it is now.
Hoping to find some good info here to further the build, thanks guys.
Hi everyone. I'm Mike, I go by Klink on most forums. My current rig is a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon which is starting to become nicely, yet moderately modified. It's a constant build, but it gets me everywhere I want to go and more importantly, back home afterwards. I own and run DisconnectedOffroad.com, another forum site that is mostly Jeep based, but open for anyone any anything having to do with off-roading and the outdoors. I was sent over here by Phoenix, who is a good friend and a moderator on my site, who had told me about the Appalachian Rendezvous. I had indented on trying to get down to the event, but as I live just 10 minutes outside of Philadelphia and work as a Firefighter/EMT, the Pope visit has completely cancelled out any travel plans for me during that weekend. (I highly recommend to anyone attending the Rendezvous to completely stay clear of Philadelphia from Friday to Monday that weekend).
Anyway, even though I have my own site, I love to read about the travels of others and seeing what is going on in the off road world. Look forward to reading up here.
Here's some photos of my Jeep.
