Fridge did awesome on our first trip with it. 8 days total, 6 days camping, no electric plug ins... all using the jeep and solar for charging. The fridge operated exactly as desired.,, and you all are exactly right... it is light years better than a cooler.

Best thing since sliced bread, right? I ran my arb for 4 days straight off my aux battery in my truck last weekend, with no issues. Love fridges.

Great to hear it worked out for you.

Any pics of the control panel or other details worth discussing?

They are basic and easy to use this is the same fridge I have Dave. You've seen it. Mine is one size smaller.

IN retrospect from our first trip I can say that I would like for a few things different, that I have seen on other fridges.
1) I would like some kind of mechanical latch if for nothing more than to make me feel more comfortable about food security in black bear country
2) I would like a drain plug in the bottom for easy of cleaning (not a biggie, but would be nice)
3) I would like it to be sturdy enough to use as a step as I launch on a new version of a camping trailer... perhaps :)
