One small mod before the long road trip. In addition to the Desert Does It seat jackers, I installed this dead pedal from M.O.R.E. Offroad. This should improve ergonomics on 10 hour cross continental flights.

Warning: This dead pedal was a 10/10 PITA to install! ;)

That mod should also net you a near 0.025 MPG increase,,, :D,,, WINNING!!!

So... the Clayton 3.5 Overland Plus kit is on the truck now, been driving it for a few days. Initial impressions are very favorable. Smooth and quiet, and it looks great.

I still need to measure and see how much actual lift was attained, but IMO a taller 3.5 lift is ideal on the Gladiator given it's long wheelbase and breakover/departure angle.

35's don't look all that bad on it, we'll look into 37's and regearing to 4.88 at some point.

Fynspray manual galley pump added to my minimalist onboard water setup.

This allows me to draw and use water without dismounting the Scepter MWC's, which is HUGE.

Also, with the addition of the 1/2 ID hose I can bring the water out for more convenience like dishes and hand washing etc..
