Dang, the whole cryptocurrency market is getting pummeled today. Down about 20% across the board. Pretty interesting to see the drop timed with the open of the US stock markets haha.
 
It is certainly taking a dive today, but even where it has dropped to I am about double where I started. It is a crazy roller coaster.
 
And everything is in a free fall. Bitcoin is down to 6242. The only thing up since I bought is litecoin.

Yeah, whats the overall picture compared to 6 months ago, a year ago, 2 years ago? You lose money if you sell on the down days, in the long view or big picture, the ups and downs level out with upward trending.
 
exactly, I bought kind of late, I will see where it goes, maybe buy a bit more while it is down this low and see what happens. With where everything is now I am within a few dollars of where I started at
 
I finally caved and Googled "blockchain" to find out what the hell it meant...apparently I'm late to the party, it said it was a "secure" method of recording transactions, yada, yada, yada..."secure" and "computer" should NEVER be used in the same sentence IMO.
 
Not gonna lie, sticking it out through that downturn was a bit nerve wracking, but dang - what a comeback so far! #HODL haha
 
It completely tanked for a bit, and I was pretty much breaking even, it is on its way back up

Looking rough today, but a little consolidation should help. We'll see if the bulls can get it back to break $10k
