Vehicle count is all that matters to the BLM.

It's not even a vehicle count. It's a random number pulled out of some mystic government matrix. I usually bring two vehicles (tow my Jeep), countless people bring trailers, some motorcycles, etc.

There was a time when I was more involved with public land use. I've got more to say, but will refrain out of respect for forum rules (politics).
 
They don't come count but if we end up with 500 they'll notice.

Hi Adventurists, I'm unfamiliar with the area in which we'll be camping, having only been to a rendezvous a few years ago in this area on a motorcycle. Is anyone planning some rock crawling or anything challenging? I remember on the moto I got to climb out of a finger canyon and that was fun, but mostly flat cruising.
 

At this point we are about 2 weeks out and there are still 20 on the wait list. Unfortunately, I do not foresee everyone getting on the list so I am going to close the wait list as of now.

Please make sure you go back and read through the first post in this thread, there is a lot of information and it will take care of most questions and help the event run smoothly.
And if you need any last minute gear, don't forget the many vendors that are generous enough to support the Rendezvous Events and make sure you let them know that their support is appreciated.
 
With great regret we'll free up a spot. We have to move my mom out of her house over the next two weekends. There was a slim chance I could slip away for a night but that's doubtful. I'd prefer the spot go to someone who can definitely make it. @BlkWgn I'll have to get you a raffle gift to take for me at hockey this Friday.

But I only need 17 more to have issues causing them not to make it. :) I make a mean dutch oven beef stew if it helps me come up the list some.

Just to be clear, I am just not adding anyone else to the waiting list, we will still add from the waiting list to the confirmed list and you are one step closer
