Ford is taking a lot of heat over QC issues with the hard top

This part was new to me:

“the Dearborn-based company wasn’t explicit with the 10-speed automatic transmission of the Bronco, which is the Explorer’s 10R60 instead of the Ranger’s beefier 10R80.”

That’s a let down. Especially when you see the torque capacity of the 10R60 is almost completely consumed by the engine. You’d think they’d want more room for error given the fact that they’re selling this with 35’s and potentially 37’s

Yeah, like that 10R80 transmission from the Ranger. They’ll wait and release that with the Warthog package

The listing says this is a demo model that's not for sale. Probably listed at that price to discourage any interest. They do have another in transit with a $20,000 market adjustment though.
