Windfall. What would you buy?

This and a lot of cash for diesel.

I'd honestly spend some money doing the dream mods to the Power Wagon and our Airstream. 40's with some 3.5's and crazy 4 link cantilever would happen.

Probably pick up an old Cherokee Cheif too, the old school 70's SJ body style. That could be a fun project.

1949 Panhead
A fifth of bourbon
A pack of Camels
An ALICE pack with a change of socks, t-shirt, underoos, and bedroll w/ a Mexican blanket.
And I'll pretend I'm 25 again.

Note: This is not my bike, and I was nowhere near having one of these at 25. I did have a friend with a bike exactly like it, and I got to ride it a few times. I think I feel worse about him selling it more than he does. There are far more reliable, and comfortable bikes out there, but this is my adventure and to me it doesn't get more American than this.

Edit to add: This is my bike that I did have at 25 (and still have), which I have ridden all over the southeast. It is my first adventure vehicle.

Wow. I have hesitated to respond to this because I hate thinking about what I don't have as it leads to thinking I can get it...
So here is how I would deal with it. I would pay off my daughter's new home (her first home purchase) I would give my oldest son the same amount. I would put the same amount away for the Joe. Then I would Pay some one to build a fence around my whole property, install a video and alarm system, a mule to patrol the property ( a mule, a mule or a mule? or maybe a goat... gamma is my favorite breed...you decide... if you don't know I cannot help you) and see about helping out my neighbors by taking a few hundred acres off their hands... and quit my job.

Yeah. Live my days out right here making my land what I want it to be.

I think we need to define how much money is in that bag. My previous answer may change depending on the total monetary value of this satchel. Eye balling the original photo I had estimated it to contain somewhere between $500,000 and $1,000,000. In that range I'll stick with my original answer. $1 million dollars isn't that much money anymore.

Now if we're talking Powerball $500 million or more kind of money....well, I have a list prepared. :D

A piece of land in the mountains with a comfortable cabin, lifetime supply of firewood already cut and stacked (I'm old, stack wouldn't have to be THAT big). I'm fairly content with the vehicles I have but I'm sure I could find room for improvement in the fleet as well.

Dream big brother.

Hmmm...after this week, I'd settle for the lame answer of getting my wife a new-to-you car. Hers died this week (well, she killed it), and we were hoping it would last one more year until the youngest was out of daycare.
