The Random Rig Shots Thread

On New Years Weekend, my buddy Brian and I took a trip out to the Iron Age Mine area about 20 Miles east of 29 Palms off of Hwy 62. Here is my favorite rig that we found there:

This Truck was one of the Mine's workhorses, Circa WWII. Can anyone identify the year and make of this truck??

Speaking of "52 fords. A friend of mine is going to attempt to get the '52 that was her dads and she grew up in back on the road. she'll have the help of the guy who drives this 4 wheel drive version giving her a hand. its gonna be nice to see hers back on the road and it was awesome to see the 4 wheel driver version out and about during the northeast winter.

I was bored the other day so I went and played with the camera outside for a bit.

Shot from last month out in the Anza Borrego desert by one of Ricardo Breceda metal sculptures. If you are out there and haven't done a tour of his 100+ sculptures, it's well worth an afternoon.

An old shot from a rainy day spent wandering American Fork Canyon, UT. One of my favorite shots of the Bronco.

@Guri, I was out there the weekend of Nov 20-22. Myself and RFJTOY in a silver FJ. We did the tour of all of Breceda's works that Saturday afternoon. First time in all the years I've been going out there that I've seen the vast majority of them.

Did about 12 vehicle recoveries this weekend, and buried my pickup to the axles for the first time.

The road washed out. Probably going to need an excavator and a dozer to repair. We found where the remaining road grade was on about half the road, but it was down about 2 feet from where its supposed to be. The other side... We never found the bottom and water was still running into / through it. No telling.
