Not all last year. Just random pics from the past few years. Ferguson Lake, along the Colorado River, is a great area to explore! You can camp, fish, shoot, hunt, hike, boat, or just relax there. I highly recommend it.

CFW was a great event Bill. Thanks again for your and all the teams hard work.

Many of you probably don't know but Country Fried Weekend was preceded by a fast moving cold front with rain and snow for the preceding day and a half to the scheduled event. When the CFW advance team arrived at the booked well-in-advance site the owner backed out of the agreement for fear that his soggy fields would be torn up. The team and a few others performed unnatural acts to lock on a new location as well as communicate the rapidly evolving venue change.

Knowing some folks were on the road from well outside GA, one of our AAV forum members from flippin' MT no less noted the change, posted in the forum, and sent me an email while on the road. Then the calls started coming in to alert me to the event venue change and offers for overnight lodging. Mighty fine gaggle of SEES constituents; worthy of membership on AAV.

The only problem I have with this CFW event now, is what am I going to cook and share next year.

This is so awesome! Keep going! Thank you! All of these pics and ideas will help others enjoy their camping experience so much better! Many are new to this. So camping Pics and Ideas are Priceless! And I especially love the pics of the kids! Unforgettable Memories! Dad started taking me camping at just 4 years old in Washington State. I knew how special it was even back then! ......Carry On!

The hardest part is always deciding what to cook and eat.
I have a bunch of ideas spinning inside my head but I never know what I'm going to make until right before the party.
I'd like to try stuffed jalapeños, vegan style maybe...

It's really easy to adapt recipes to vegan.

Like Pizza:

And speaking of kidz having fun while camping, they can wheel too!

Some camp setups are quick and spartan, others more elaborate for longer stays. Some are just happy faces. I hit the 20 img limit.
