Man I was thinking my chances to win by default were good, but there's some awesome stories and reports in here!

Well, the good thing is that the voting by anonymous poll will ensure a fair outcome - may the best trip report win!

4 more days to get in on the fun folks!

:home

I updated my report with never before seen pictures of aliens, alligators (thanks beth), and bigfoot.

Hey Grumps, I just reread your trip report. It is so obvious that some of your photos have been photoshopped. That frittata pic must have been lifted from a cookbook, and is your wife really that pretty? Come on...look at you. If you are going to manipulate your photos, at least try to keep it believable.

P.S. It is so cool you got to camp with Bigfoot. He's usually busy when we ask him to go on trips with us.:-D

Me too...I just don't see any evidence of photoshopping though; its all totally believeable. Alligators in northern NC...not so much ;)

What's Photoshop? I have scissors, scotch tape, and a scanner. E.T. was my fav :)

Have fun with votes. I'm heading out for long weekend trip.

I hadn't considered this contest, I would have had my wife edit it, she was a communications major:). My trip

Funny you should mention your wife Al, we've known you for years but have never seen her. I bet we have a better chance of meeting Bigfoot then meeting the mysterious Mrs. Swope....

As real as Tango's wife... :spy

That sounds an awful lot like sas-talk.

Rare photograph of spouse and truck in the same picture taken in Wyoming of the trip that defies documentation.

With her flippin' hands in her pockets... damned civilians.

Seriously Tango... is that your best photo of your better half (your wife, not the truck)? I had to put my glasses on so I could get a better look and I still don't know what she looks like.

If you had walked six steps closer before you snapped the picture we could see her more clearly. However, it is a nice photo of all that beautiful gravel in the foreground. So pretty.

It seems you could use some photography lessons.... if only we knew someone who teaches that....hmmmm.

She went on BESF trip a few years ago. She is like a cicada, every 7 years or so you'll see her in the woods but you have go to pay close attention

The winter trip where Chris nearly flopped? I think I remember her..... her and your daughter never got out of the truck?

Layering and foreground dominate compositions are two solid uses of the frame. Don't listen to her Tango, that is a great photo of the gravel.
