This morning headed down to the shop to service Sally & I offroad adventure camper, pumping out the old axle grease & pumping the new for our up & coming trip in 2 weeks. Will be heading to Missouri to the Mark Twain National Forest to a few trailheads for 3 days then head down to Texas for 7 days. I decided to try Travelers Marine & Offroad Calcium Sulfonate NLGI #2 Grease. I read a lot of good reviews on this grease for it's superior water resistance than a lithium base grease. The Travelers Calcium Sulfonate Grease supposedly doesn't wash out or break down when driving through water crossings our trailer wheels under water launching boats. We have a few wheel high water \ creek crossings in the Mark Twain Forest to a place we planned on camping at. I love Dexter Axle E-Z Lube Grease Cap & Plug Kit, make for a cleaner easier quicker axle grease change.
I also service the offroad coupler & hitch for our camper. All is left to do is give the camper a good bath. This summer planning on installing electric brakes to our camper. This should be the last of the modifications.
