Overlanding from a non overlander POV

I "watch" a lot of youtube. By that I mean it's usually the white noise in the background while working in the shop or doing something downstairs in the man cave. I don't subscribe to a lot, however, and hate the endless begging for likes/subscriptions. I understand that in the YouTube scheme of things it makes a difference but stop asking 50 times in your video. We all get it, you need subscribers. Spend less time asking for subscribers and put out better content. My .02

The relevant channels I do subscribe to are:

Mountain State Overland - This is really just so I can keep up with the latest Vegabonds music and they're kind of funny from time to time.

Lifestyle Overland - Really liked them when they first started out, now...not as much but my wife likes to see what they're doing as a family.

Iamjake - This guy can be somewhat annoying, but he's helping me to understand the millennial mindset that I have to deal with at work. If he ever gets Jade (his Jeep) rebuilt it's going to be pretty darn epic as well.

Ronny Dahl - I want to go to Australia.

@jscusmcvet If you find yourself needing some late night entertainment check out Matt's Off Road Recovery. Guy uses a Macgyvered XJ to perform off road recoveries in Utah. Rental car stuck in the mud? He'll pull it out with the XJ. F350 with a 5th wheel stuck in the sand? Yep, pulling it out with the XJ. Video's are fairly raw and he seems like a real guy just recording what he does. Instructors of vehicle recovery classes will probably shit themselves watching...

I've also realized that as this guy grows his beard out more and more he's starting to look like @BushHead . Is there some relation there? :D

Some of the situations people get themselves in are quite interesting:

Lol.. I forgot about Mountains state, I like it for the same reasons.. and Matt's recovery.. been watching it in the background lately too! Us guys named Matt have to stick together there's so few of us....
