O.M.G. Say it ain't so...

A new frame is 'maybe' worth the wait... sure will be a great platform on which to re-build the Tundra if/when needed, or just get it back and use like you have been all these years!

Fords are okay, I think I still like them, but haven't owned a new one in a long while.

Dang... that's quite a line of trucks waiting. All those waiting on frames?

Good news, good news, good news!!! Just got a call from the Toyota Rep who informed me that my Truck is going into the shop today. I'll get it back next week. HeeHaw! When I asked him why I'm getting the truck in so much earlier than expected he said "Honestly we're tired of paying the rental on that Super Duty, so we moved you to the top of the line to get your truck back to you and the Ford back to Enterprise."

I am a happy man today.

Now I'll have Fafhrd for the Appalachian Rendezvous and get to have a grudge drag race with Tango out front of the Eldorado Outpost.

Wow, they have been renting you a truck all this time, has it been months?

Cool that you'll be getting your old/new truck soon? :)

It will be close to three months when I get the Tundra back. The Enterprise rep told me they were charging Toyota $60 per day so if ya figure 90 days that's a total of, holy crap, $5400. Toyota has got to be getting a better deal than that or it would just have been cheaper to just give me top dollar for Fafhrd and sit me in a new Tundra or Tacoma.

But again, I think Toyota has worked a deal with the frame steel supplier and they are paying all these bills.

Truck is back together...a Toyota quality inspector is coming to the dealership on Monday for final approval and Fafhrd will be back home come Tuesday.

Congrats! I can't imagine driving another vehicle for that long. Very much looking forward to seeing this at AR, and meeting it's driver.

Be sure to put an extra coat of wax on the Tundra Mark. I don't want the hot rubber from my Nitto's leaving any scorch marks on that pretty finish. :D

Talkin' trash like a Vin Diesel wannabe huh...well me and Rat Fink say bring on that Chevota, err Toyolet and we'll see who rules the street.
