Nomadic in CA

I'm at it again! I ended up crashing at a friend's place last night but I don't want to chill with people tonight. I'm at SB Brew Co for a burger and beer. The problem is location of the trailer. Due to a bent axle, I peered under the trailer and the rubbing is so bad that it's eaten through the rubber sidewall and exposed the innards of a tire. So I'm stuck. Downtown. Next to the freeway. I am literally 100ft from the 101 with no divider wall at a dead end. Under a white street light. Hmmm, a movie at a friend's house is sounding better as I type this...plus ya can't argue with good company and a warm bed ;)

Awesome. Enjoyed it the first go round, hopefully this one's just as entertaining, and that the circumstances aren't too bad.

It's just through today. Renting my place out is great. I've been up early, showered at the gym, walked Alice Keck Park w the dog, walked State Street and got a patio breakfast. I'm back in at 12 but have plans all day.
I was able to measure the axle an it's a little over 4 ft long. So I'll get a 5 ft axle which will push the wheels off of the body a bit which was needed anyways.

There's a trailer parts vendor down here in Ventura, but as much as I really do prefer to buy local, he's a last resort.
