Who are we? American Adventurist is a Veteran-owned, North America based, adventure lifestyle community and media organization. Our community of enthusiasts is highly committed to Tread Lightly! principles and environmentally responsible outdoor recreation.
Since 2010 we’ve worked with the community of interest to bring people together for outdoors activities across the nation ranging from educational opportunities to expedition style trips, casual overland trail rides and our flagship Rendezvous events.
American Adventurist hosts three of these Rendezvous events each year geared toward the vehicle-supported outdoors enthusiast. These events are held in unique environments and steeped in the region’s local flavor, and all our community events share our core values and focus on friends, family, and an active outdoor lifestyle. At American Adventurist we are not “just for profit” and as such we have an enduring commitment to give back to the local community at every event we host. Our events include the Desert Rendezvous and Mountain Rendezvous in Southern California; and the Appalachian Rendezvous in North Carolina. Future plans include an event in the middle of the map to tie the coasts together, bringing added value to our members and partners.
