Let's talk BEER

I'm probably going to get rocks thrown at me for saying this on here but it won't be the first time... lol

I'm a huge Michelada "chelada" fan. Homemade over the canned variety but I'll never turn my nose at the premade variety.
I typically start with a light beer (other than Coors, my wife calls it rocky mountain water) Miller, bud, corona, modelo...
gather up the fixins:
Lemon, lime, clamato, Worcestershire sauce, angostura bitters, hot sauce and Tajin. (olives optional) hell sometimes everything is optional and I'll just take a chug out of the can and pour in some clamato.
step 1: Take a frosty mug rim with lemon/lime juice and Tajin.
Step2: Squeeze some lemon/lime juice into the glass followed by a jigger of Worcestershire sauce, angostura bitters, hot sauce.
Step 3: Pour about 3 fingers of Clamato into glass.
Step 4: Pour beer into glass (mixes itself) shake some more Tajin on top.

Try not to down it in less than 1 minute. On a hot day (or any day really) it is beyond refreshing. Sometimes I drink them faster than it takes to make one...

I enjoy most beers... IPA's in moderation. If I feel the need to shave my tongue after 2 sips I probably won't have more then one.
I LOVE a Guinness, especially on Tap.

Ryan is absolutely right on this beverage. He offered me a sample of his concoction at Appalachian Rendezvous.

Given the opportunity, if he offers me one of these libations again, I would throw rocks at him. o_O

Agreed, but perhaps you'd like to join me for a Bromosa in Pisbro one day? :spy

Negative. The thought of beer and OJ combine is equally repulsive. I'm one of those rare members that has no taste for beer - I find the flavor absolutely repugnant. Deconstruct your concoctions based on beer and I'll enjoy those ingredients separately. Better yet, I'll stick with spirits or wine, but thank you for the offer.

I never said the Bromosa was good....just that you'd maybe want to try it. HAHA (hint: it's not very good)

OJ and beer is for hipsters who drink Blue Moon....

I must have spent too much time in and around Mexico....

The wife just picked a uKeg 64 oz Beer Growler for me from Growler Werks!

I just need to make a trip to the local brewery and fill it up.

I'm a stout fan, generally speaking. If I can't see through my beer, that's a good start. Guinness is my stand by but recently I've gotten into Belching Beaver Brewery, with my current favorite, their Peanut Butter Milk Stout. The Horchata Stout is also pretty tasty.

We're in the process of moving and it's been a long process. I even missed the damn Tembo Tusk open house today because of closing escrow etc etc... It's been a long day so it's time for one of my favorites - no over-hopped hipster bullshit here just a good old fashioned Belgian style triple from Canada, La Fin Du Monde - à votre santé!

While I would say that's a good beer.. I would also argue that we all have different tastes.. I like the "overbooked hipster bullshit". I drink it because I enjoy it, not because I'm a hipster.. I'm also known for enjoying a good old fashioned Coors light.

I have no idea what "over booked" is but is sounds like skinny jeans and man bun...

:stars
Hahaha.. Autocorrect strikes again
. I meant overhopped.. But I think you knew that... Since I was originally quoting you..
