GSI camp kitchen products

I had the opportunity to use the GSI stuff this past weekend. I was pretty happy with everything except one detail. The edges on the pots'pans are rolled. The "rolled" portion is not sealed, leaving a gap between the "roll" and the edge of the pot/pan...making it a bit of a PITA to clean food out, like scrambled eggs that sloshed over a bit, just an example, no personal knowledge.

Glad they are working out. They are still on my list of things to buy but at this po8nt, I'm just hoping to pick up their java press before the toys 4 tots event.

I really need to start spending more time on this site! I have been hemming and hawing about this set for weeks. The cheap Ozark Trail set I bought a couple years ago has been getting severely abused. I pulled the trigger a few minutes ago. I do have the kitchen utensil set though. I got turned on to the GSI stuff after the Maine Traverse. On my way home I stopped at the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery Maine and bought the Java Mill and the Java press and I have been thoroughly impressed. The new cook ware and utensils will get tested out the 19th of this months when the girlfriend and I go camping for our Christmas celebration.

I just bought their coffee grinder - very happy with it and very high quality for only $30 on Amazon.

Just don't overfill it with the raw beans. Stop at the top of the vertical ribs, and grip it high on the body. I didn't do either and cracked it.
