The problem isn't the mounting, rather interference with the back up camera.

I already own a roo, just haven't used it for that reason.

Not really. It's there from the factory, in a great place that's hard to relocate.

Since I've got a green one coming, and own a practically new (No rear mounted spare, so it lives in my garage until trip time) tan one there might be one in the marketplace soon.

Mike, I don't have the rear mounted spare so I mount mine on the side of my rack and built this PVC inner frame to help it keep it's shape.
