This Expo event was the second and occurred at the Taylor Ranch near Asheville. Some local "celebrity" overlanders found the weather conditions too arduous and decided to retrograde to a better equipped camp ground - that happened to be an Omni Classic Hotel.

The whole Asheville and WNC region was and is still considered a temperate rainforest. When does it ever not rain? Heck it's raining now. It's like a near daily occurrence around these parts.
