Very cool application of the (EO)2.
I'm thinking of getting another base plate to mount to the garage wall as storage when not on the FJ.

It's still hanging on the side of the trailer, about 40/50,000 miles latter. I didn't notice any change in MPG, it's still crappy. ]

Another option might be the Caribou Cases mounts; they're designed for adventure bikes but there's a DIY kit with the parts for $60. NO personal experience with them and only seen them used on bikes before.

Damn I've never heard of Caribou mounting systems, they look good and well priced too. You can learn something new everyday on American Adventurist!

The guy that started the company has been on Adventure Rider for years. Lots of folks on that forum use them and seem to be happy with them. PLenty of threads on them over there if you need reviews, pics, etc.
