Oh, I just had to go and read this thread......and find out that my GSI press is longer the favored way of making camp coffee.

Omg, this what I've been missing! A pelican to store my caffeine fix junk in. I shall run right to the garage and pick one out from the stash! Why didn't I think of that!
I use the JetBoil and a gamila press. In case you've not seen it:

I remember seeing that! If they ever have them in stock again Id add one to my coffee arsenal in a heart beat.
Whole Latte Love carries them now:

The also comes in a darker color, so be sure you see both. It's very Snow Peakish, so I knew you'd like it.
I have two of those bottles and have been less-than-impressed with their thermal retention. In case anyone was still wondering, at 12 hours, the water temp was 170 degrees. I missed the 24 hour mark, but at 36 hours, the temperature was 130 degrees. Not the best solution for fresh coffee, but not a bad one either. And glad I could spark a lively debate on campsite coffeemaking! You guys have certainly given me a lot of things to consider.
I use a Jetboil with a pour over mesh filter that sits over a large thermos. To make it successful I have to grind our coffee more course than we use at home. If you want to try something new my current favorite is "Jet Fuel" by the Independence Coffee Company (and it is AWESOME): http://www.independencecoffee.com/p...-lb-bulk-the-original-multi-origin-dark-roast
This is what I use at camp and I love it..
